Full moon photo

From the parts I have at present, I am able to do a prime focus setup where I can hook the DSLR directly to my NexStar 6SE with just a T Adapter and T Ring for my Canon. The issue is that as its not the eyepiece projection method, I can’t get extra magnification from an eyepiece in the middle of the whole setup, I need an extra tube for that.

The whole point of being able to take photos was so that I can record visually what I see and share it here as a means to learn what things are in the sky. The images won’t be great compared to other, but that does not matter. Above was taken while I was sat on my living room floor trying to work out what goes where and how. Its made up of two images. Not good quality as there was fog, few clouds and light pollution as I am in the city centre. Full size version can be found here.

Now I know how to use the scope, I just need a clear day…
